Something a little different! Yes, I have done black and white photography, in fact I took a photography class in high school and although we covered working with color film I actually enjoyed black and white more. I have many black and white photos that I will post as time goes on but this is the first one I'm posting. This was one of those spontaneously cool photos and I can't quite explain what happened. Well, I guess I can. I was messing with some of my dad's old slides and I manipulated this one when I put the print through the developer tray.(As you can see, there's still some stains from the chemicals - think I should clean them up or do they add to the weirdness?) Cool, huh? These look like sparklers.
Wow, that's so bizarre...but in a really cool way! I thought this was another fractal from you when I saw the thumbnail. I can't believe you can do that with photography!
Beautiful effects, very beautiful! I love how it's not just black and white, but also has shades of grey there too. ^_^
Great job, hun!
Haha thank you! Actually I think the way you put it is exactly what I thought of it when I first developed it. Haha, and I totally see how you'd think it was a fractal, it does look like one, doens't it? At least a black and white one. I'm glad you like it! Yeah, it's got the grey in there because it was developed from a photo that was originally in color. At least that's why I think it has the grey!
That's pretty neat! It does look like a bunch of fireworks in...negative/monochrome vision? XD I quite like the smaller circles floating away from the main bursts too. :]
Yes, I did something like this, but it was not with my photos. I placed oil colors on a tray of water until the design floating on the water was what I wanted. Then I lay the paper over the water and picked it up to dry. The result was similar, but in color. You should try that too!
That does sound interesting! I'll have to try it sometime! First, I want to get a new camera. I have a digital one now, but it's a cheap one, it's just something to have until I can afford one like the one that was stolen from me.

Thank you for the fave!
